MY CAR HAVE BEEN SITTING UP OVER 6 MONTHS AND I GAVE IT OIL CHANGE, NEW BATTERY AND IT WON'T STAY CHARGED THE ALTENATOR IS OVER 2 YEARS OLD NEW NOT REMANUFACTURED IT ONLY STAY CHAR FOR 10 HOURS DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR.

Hi:
The alt could have a bad diode allowing battery power to pass to ground when the car is off. Take it to a parts store and have them check it. The' should do it for free. Also, if it was a new alt when you replaced it, chances are it has a lifetime warranty.
