How do I tune up the car? What are the gap settings? Is there a computer chip that governs gas mileage/engine performance? Should I change that chip and how much is a ball park price?

AS far as the tune up, there is nothing you can do to the computer. Most people replace plugs, wires, air filter (if needed) check belts, replace fuel filter...

As far as the plug gap, let me know what size engine you have.
