1987 Buick Electra 6 cyl Automatic 75423 miles

Recently changed the timing belt and timing gear on my car and now the car will crank but will not stay running what could be the problem.

if you aligned the timing chain the correct way, you probably don't have the ignition timing set correctly. It will move even after you marked everything
