1986 Buick Electra no spark

I would use a spark checker,they are available at your local parts store,remove the wire from the sparkplug insert spark checker,then attach to metal(exhaust bolt,manifold)have a helper crank engine,watch for spark or listen for snapping sound,if no spark found at any wires,you'll need to scan computer for crank signal/camsignal,it may be a good idea to check for injector pulse at this time also.
