I have a 1991 Buick Century and the radio antenna is snapped off. How to I remove it so I can buy another antenna? The antenna is just a standard manual non-moving antenna.

Unbolt antenna base. Remove front pass. Side wheel. Remove the shield that runs above the wheel, you should be able to see with a flash light in there behind the glove box.(You may also have to take the glove box out before you can get to this on some cars). The antenna cable should be attached to the back side of the glove box housing. You can get a new antenna and mount with the cable pretty cheap from a junk yard ( I did). Some of the cierra and buick century models allow you to only remove the glove box and loosen the antenna cable from there and you should be able to loosen and lift the base off with the wire. So all you'd have to do is run the new antenna cable through to the glove box and mount the base.
