when I am sitting still with the air conditioner/ heater on I am getting a gas smell coming through the vents. When I am driving however; the smell stops, but will return if I have to sit still at a red light or am parked with the engine running. What could be causing this? and is it a major/ costly repair?

Hi:
It sounds like there is a fuel leak under the hood. When you're driving, the smell gets blown away; however, when you sit, it stays in the engine compartment. If the car is running fine for you, the injectors should be ok. Therefore, have someone check the fuel lines.

If there is a leak, it should be cheap to repair.

Let me know what you find and the estimate, so I can let you know if it sounds ok.
