2004 Buick Century headlamp covers

I have to clean the inside of my headlamp covers. It looks like the clear cover just pops from hooks from the base. But I don't want to break it, then pay hundreds of dollars to fix it. How do I remove just the cover so that I can clean it

They are not removeable and will break if you force them. If they are fogged, they need replaced.
