will my valves bend if my timing belt breaks?

It depends on which motor you have under the hood. If you have any motor other than the 3800 V-8, then "Yes", your valves will bend.

With the push-rod version (3800), that won't happen.

But either way, you should replace the timing belt before it breaks. Why not spend a little to save a lot???
