2002 Buick Century Wipers parked in the up position

2002 Buick Century V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

My wipers work fine but when you turn off the wipers they park in the up position. Do I have to replace the wiper motor or is there some adjustment that can be made?
Also how do you get to the wiper motor to replace it or fix it?
