2002 Buick Century Windshield wipers

2002 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Wipers work normally, however when you switch them off they stop straight up on windshield. I have pushed them down, but when the engine is started
they return to the highest point on the windshield..

The problem is the wiper motor assembly. Replace and the problem will go away. Jerry E.
