I was told by autozone the 2 codes showed indicated the coolant temp. And the o2 sensor before cat. Converter was bad. OK I flushed engine completely, installed new thermostat, new coolant, bled system.(The old thermostat looked good)then installed new o2 sensor (made by bosch). Ok now I had battery dis connected, with lights on for 10 minutes, great started car few times no trouble lights came on, sent wife to get inspection, when she turned in to center the lights came back on. Any ideas what else could have caused those combination of trouble codes.

Hello, can you give us the actual codes? The first one, are you talking about the coolant temp sensor?

The codes don't tell you what to replace, just that there is suspected problem on that system.

Are there any driveability issues?

The o2 sensor that was sold to me is the one that bosh recomends for 2002 buick, upon closer inspection it would only plug in 180deg. Off of the way it should.A was going to c and c wire from sensor to a and so on, I diassembled plug of new o2 sensor marking abc&D wires then connected them to abcd as they were labeled in car plug end. Reset codes and presto now it works fine there was no driveability issues and codes were po128 and po131, I replaced the thermostat, flushed system, and replaced o2 sensor bank 1, thanks for your help I didnt give you guys enough info.>Marvin
