where is the EGR valve located?

Hi,

The EGR valve is located on the top left side of the engine. If you look at pic 1 below, it shows the component.

As far as replacement, it really isn't too difficult to do. One thing to take time doing is the removal of a pipe from the EGR valve. Make sure not to damage it. It is metal and due to its age, it can crack.

Starting with pic 2, the directions for the removal and replacement of the EGR are listed below.
