Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Buick Century 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 139k miles

My car shakes when I drive over 40 and when I slow down to stop. I have 22' rims on the car. I just recently got a balance on the wheels. I want to know what is the problem that needs to be fixed to stop the shaking. My brake light comes on as well.

Wheel problem
1. Verify that the wheels are designed for front wheel drive vehicle and that they have the correct offset for the vehicle.
2. You may need wheel spacer set to properly install those huge rims onto the wheel hubs.

Brake light.
1. Verify that you have enough fluid in the reservoir. YES, go to 3. NO, fill the reservoir then go to 2.
2. Verify no brake system fluid leak and check brake pads thickness.
3. Check brake fluid level sensor on the brake reservoir.
