The ABS light and the Brake light have come on on my dash. Fluid levels are fine, and no sensors are loose or disconnected. We've had ice for the past week, so I can't check the brakes out to see if they're working properly. If I have to take car to a dealership for service, about how much would the repairs be? Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Sincerely,
Debbie

Low fluid or parking brake slighty tripped can set brake light. ABS light just means ABS isn't working. And actually ice is where you test your ABS as thats what it's made for. Sensors can go bad and cause ABS light to trip. Even with both lights on your brakes can work fine as normal brakes. If however your pedal is acting funny you may have a more serious issue like leaks or master cylinder failure imminent. When in doubt, get it checked out.

Thank you, fixitmr, I will take it in to the dealership and have them diagnose & possibly repair whatever's wrong. Hopefully it will not be too expensive.
Sincerely,
Debbie
