If a waterpump needs to be replaced, but I has very little water coming out, does it need to be replaced that very second, or if i have to wait a week, I can drive the car as long as I put water in it?

Chances are, if you keep the coolant level full, it should be ok, but remember, you can't see how fast it's leaking while driving. You could end up low on coolant and not know it. Don't drive long distances before checking it.
