My headlights are out, but my brights are working when I pull the turn switch towards me. They won't stay on though.

Also, all the external lights on the driver's side - one hazard, the turnlights, the brakelights plus the third brakelight - aren't working either.

Any idea what this could be??

I'd check the bulbs first. On newer cars, there is two filaments inside the lamps that light up. If one is broken, then the lights won't light.

2nd Check the fuses for the lights. See if any of them are blown (i.e. the little U is no longer connected and it's black/grey inside where it should be clear).

And you may have some wiring issues too. After you've checked all the bulbs, and are certain they are new, and the fuses, then if your not comfortable with continuity tests go to a professional to have them check the wires.

It could also be the switch itself. Which in this case, also requires a trip to the dealer or an electrical service place.
