which fuse controls the back up lights ?

H 7 - 8 TAILLAMPS 15A fuse


This is a bit of a educated guess, but that's what Im reading here.

Let me know if this was accurate. If not, I'll try again.

It's in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger's side. In the 1999 Buick Century Manual it's called the "rear compartment release" fuse. Well, on that year and model Buick, there is no "rear compartment release" fuse. There's a 7.5 amp back-up light fuse in it's place. There are two 7.5 amp fuses in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger's side; check both fuses if your unsure of it's exact location. One of them will be blown and it will be that one that controls the back-up lights. It took me a long time to figure this out. Thanks for trying to help Joe.
