Remove the pinch bolt (needs two 15/16 inch wrenches) for the ball joint stud. Remove the stabilizer bar bushing from the control arm and loosen the bushing on the frame on that side. Pry the control arm down until the ball joint stud clears the steering knuckle. Then drill out and chisel off the heads of the three rivets holding the ball joint to the control arm. The new one should come with nuts and bolts to attach it to the control arm.
