the parking brake cable broke and the parking brake is on hiow do I release the parking brake?

I'd have to go out and look at mine, but I'm sure the cable releases a ratchet mechanism on the pedal that probably can be disengaged at the pedal.

Get a screwdriver and flashlight and look up under the dash at the parking brake pedal mechanism. Just below the front of the dash nearest you, you'll see a small lever that the end of the release cable may still be visible in. Pull toward you on that lever with the screwdriver and the brake should release.
