Looking at buying a 1994 Buick Century. The gas gauge, shift indicator and volt meter don't work. I can get a replacement cluster but need an idea of how difficult it is to replace. I've already seen that these have a cable problem for the shift indicator.
I was a mechanic in the 80's and still do as much work as possible on our newer vehicles, snowmobiles, etc.

You may not need to replace the cluster! Does the gas gauge read always full, or empty?
