1994 Buick Century Hard starting, stumbles, backfires when

Car is hard to start and has no power until it warms up (heater guage starts to move). It stumbles and backfires badly if you try to drive before it warms up. After warming up, it runs fine.

Has the temp sensor been checked? When was the last tune up? Has fuel pressure been checked?
