1993 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I started the car this morning it ran long enough to clear back window the died, then would not start can turn over but not start. In the past have had a problem of get in start it started and the dies over and over.

Has the check engine light ever come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks and fuel pump pressure? Finally, does the car run good other than at an idle?
