I believe I have it narrowed down to this part, but I'm curious if the MAF sensor can be bypassed. Is it possible for a bad sensor to prevent the vehicle from starting? I disconnected the current MAF sensor three days ago, and the car ran well, until this morning.

Hi:
I'm not sure what your problem was, but I am surprised that the car ran without the MAF. IT sounds like that would be the problem. But, before replacing it, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. If any codes are stored, they will direct you.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
