1993 Buick Century Gear Shifts

1993 Buick Century Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The gauge indicator has quit moving on the gear shifts although I can shift gears. But the indicator does not move. This happened today for the first time. What is wrong with it? How much will it cost to get fixed?

Assume you have collum shift. If so there is a small wire that attaches the shifter to the indicator. May have broken or come loose. Take off the paneling around collum and you should be able to see .
