1993 Buick Century fuel pump won't come on

i have a 1993 buick century and the fuel pump won't come on i check the relay it was good i put a new fuel pump in it didn't work i check the fuse it good i test the wire to see if it was hot it wan't i chase the wire to see if it is broken it won't can you please help me find the promble.
