How can one check for a cracked block ?? I have the heads off and have 2 blown head gaskets.. I can see antifreeze in the block where the heads were. Since there is still antifreeze at this level can I assume the block is not cracked ?? I see no cracks in the cylinders.

Hi:
Cracks are normally identified by a machine shop. They can pressurize things and have scopes to examin the block.
