Engine Performance problem
1988 Buick Century 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive

My car runs ok for about 5 miles or so then it starts to act like it is not getting gas. It will go for a minute then lose power then go for a minute and lose power. After a little bit of this the motor will die but I can restart it immediately. I filled up the tank and now it is about half full. Could it be bad gas? I replaced the fuel filter. That did not help. I put in some stp fuel treatment and some more gas and that did not help. What could be the problem.
