I've been told that these transmissions usually have a module go bad rather than the transmission. What should I do to determine that? I bought it with the 40,000 miles on it and the car does nothing when put in gear. The fluid seems to be up to full. I hate to go getting a transmission for it when it might only be an inexpensive module. Thanks in advance. Bob

If the module is bad
the car will move but will have difficulty shifting
have the tranny checked
