Car taken to "mechanic". Code 24 will not cause it to stall. Stalls when warmed up at slowing down and stops. Recent sudden problem. SES light comes on, "mechanic" doesn't know why. He cleaned MAF and IAC. "Runs fine" when "mechanic" drives. Hesitated on hiway this AM...stalled at red light, did not want to start. SES light on and off, brake light comes on (then off). Lost cruise control. Please help? Quick fix by disconnecting TCC Solenoid in transmission or go to better shop and have replaced?

IF disconnecting the tcc resolves symptoms Then changing it would be best. Your gas miliage will drop without it.
