Looking for advice on removing a radiator drain plug. The plastic piece to turn the plastic is broken off. I'll include pictures.
I've tried a paid of needle nose pliers. I also tried heating up a allen wrench and trying to melt a hole so that I can turn. But I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
I'll include pictures and video of the area.

I will add that no coolant is leaking, I am just wanting to do a flush. I know that I can remove the radiator hose but wanted to try and get it done the right way.

Hi,
I don't blame you for wanting to do it right. I wish more people were like that. LOL
I watched the video, and you should be able to get a pair of pliers on its sides and turn it. It appears to have enough on the sides to grab easily with pliers.
I copied a pic from your video and circled where I would attach pliers.
Let me know if you have already tried this.
Take care,
Joe

I was able to get it off yesterday. With a combination of vise grips and needle nose pliers.

Take care and please feel free to come back anytime in the future. You are always welcome here.
