The vehicle height dropped about one inch due to a broken left front coil spring. The break is about 2 inches up from the bottom of the coil.
I know the whole shock tower assembly has to be disassembled to repair.

My question would be, are there any repair options and what would you recommend? Also, do both coils left and right need to be replaced?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best option is to install a pair of "quick struts". Those are new coil springs, struts, upper mounts and bearings, and all hardware assembled and ready to bolt in. These are the best value because you don't have to deal with the safety issue with the coil spring compressor, and the time you save more than makes up for the small added cost of parts.

You always want to replace brake and suspension parts in matched sets. That maintains balanced braking and handling. Here's the instructions for removing the left front strut assembly. Installation is the reverse, but I copied the written instructions because they include the torque specs.

Let me know if you plan on removing the springs from the struts. I'll find those instructions for you.
