I had a small black piece of a quick connector come out with the return fuel line and was wondering if I can slide that piece back into the connector or if it's broken and needs replacement? They were stuck together pretty good due to rust. I have a photo of the small plastic piece in question.

Hi,

If you go to a parts store, they will have replacements for this in the Help Section. Looking at the pictures, I believe that is an o-ring that simply is what prevents leakage. You could most likely reuse it, but because it deals with fuel, I would replace the white clip and the seal.

Let me know if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
