I have a class A motor home with the F53 chassis and the brake lights do not come on when the brake pedal is pushed. The brake lights do however come on when i push the trailer brake button. changed the brake switch and bulbs and nothing.

check the light green wire from brake switch to see if power is there or not. if you have a high mounted stop light and that works then go to t/s switch and check the wires marked for power going in and out of switch if power there then you have a short in wiring leading to stop lights or a bad ground in back where stoplights ground which should be on frame.
