Hi,

Brake noise/squeak can be the result of a few things. First, were the brake rotors also replaced? What type of pad was used as a replacement?

What I have experienced over the years is this. If rotors are not replaced, they can cause noise. There is a glaze that will build up on them and sometimes the new pads when applied, squeak.

Now, this is funny, but I have experienced squeak when I went to the extreme on either end of the spectrum. For example, a ceramic hi priced pad can make noise and a cheap pad can do the same based on design.

If you did replace the rotors, what you can do is purchase a brake squeal eliminator. Basically, it is placed on the back of the disc pads. It absorbs the vibrations causing the noise. I attached an example below of the type of product I'm referring to.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
