Brakes wont release after car is running

Replaced brakes then brakes started to drag, then they would not release disconnected the booster brakes release. is the booster bad or is there something else I need?

Pull the master cylinder out and check for leaks and to see if the booster is sucking in brake fluid. If it is then the master cylinder and booster will need replacing.
