When I brake, it feels like it's losing resistance and like there's a secondary brake. It makes a boing noise.

I am not sure I understand. Is the ABS disconnected or are you asking if you should disconnect it?

I am not sure you can disconnect it unless you unplug the module but this iis not a good idea.

Also, if you feel like you are loosing resistance then we need to find out if the brake booster is the issue or if you have a leak. As for the feeling of the brakes coming back and you hear a noise, I suspect this is the ABS activating so we need to better identify what is happening.

Is there any warning lights on? Can you get a video of what it is doing which should better explain this for us? Thanks
