Brakes go to the floor but brake fluid is full, I guess they kind of go a little over halfway before they catch, then they go down even further! A small brake fluid leak would not cause that, right?

it can be a leak, the master may be shot, air in system like abs unit especially if a brake job was recently done.if you are going to bleed brakes use a power bleeder.

It sounds more like a hydraulic issue or brakes are worn out, can you check them and get back to us?
