Hello OZWV,
Is the bleeder screw on the top? Sometimes the parts store can give you the wrong caliper and you don't notice. If this is the case, you will not be able to bleed it properly. I would make sure the bleeder is in the right position, at the top.
What are you using to bleed it? The best way i found is to use a bottle with brake fluid in it with a hose. With one end of the hose on the bleeder and the other end in the fluid, have an assistant pump the brakes and hold on the third pump.
While they are holding, open the bleeder. When the pedal hits the floor have the assistant tell you "floor" and close the valve. Repeat the process over and over until you have a good pedal, and all air is gone.
Use a clear flexible tube and a Gatorade bottle. A Gatorade bottle stands up the best on it's own. Make sure the other end of the tube is always under the brake fluid in the bottle.
This will ensure no more air is entering the caliper.
If you don't have an assistant to pump and hold the brakes, a vacuum bleeder might be a better choice.

These do work but prepare to squeeze this thing over and over and over. lol. They do make electric ones too.
It is possible there is air trapped in the ABS block. In this case you may need to use a scan tool to activate the bleed procedure.
