Left front side brake pad is really tight

I was wondering why my left front side brake pad is really tight and my right front side brake pad fits perfectly. what could be the problem?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If you are referring to how the pad fits into the mount, remove the aluminum hardware and clean rust from the mount. It builds up there and causes the hardware to squeeze the pad where it mounts. The pads should be free floating, so you should be able to move them when they are mounted (until you hit the brake). Often times, I will take a small file and clean rust and dirt from the area where the pad sits.
