Attempting to put drum with bearing back on vehicle and and it won't go on?

Bought all new parts for my car. Rear right backing plate, shoes, hardware, self adjuster, drum, spindle stub shaft, and wheel bearing. Got the backing plate, spindle, shoes, hardware, and self adjuster installed. Attempting to put drum with bearing back on vehicle and and it won't go on. Tried it on other side of vehicle and fits right on.

Here is a guide that will help with this. More then likely the shoes are adjusted too far out and you need to pull them back in to get the drum on them.
