Just a question first. Have you checked the master cylinder reservoir brake fluid level and is it correct? Also, Here is a tutorial to view about brake light:

I got it to work again. I saw a post about pulling BCM connector off and clean with fine bristle. And clear dielectric grease. The brake light works like it should again. Thanks
