When putting the caliper mounting bolts back on. Do both the bolts for the one caliper have to be identical bolts? And if they are not could that be causing a grinding sound when I'm not even braking and when I'm braking? I've replaced both rotors and brake pads and I still have the same noise. but my driver side has had two different caliper mounting bolts.

The bolts should be the same length, thread and diameter as any changes can cause problems. The ones in red circles need to be the same length because if they are longer then they can rub on the back side of the rotor and cause grinding and brake damage because they are hitting. They are also not a common bolt as they are a much stronger alloy than a grade 2 or 5. If it is one of those that is wrong you can get replacements from a dealer or visit a salvage yard.
