a red fluid (probably transmission) was added to the master cylinder. the front brakes are hanging up but not locked. it probably happened several months ago. can I get away with only replacing the master cylinder? can I bypass the abs system and replace everything else?

every piece of rubber must be replaced. master cylinder, brake hoses, calipers, wheel cylinders, abs unit.
