Brakes, guide pins are rusted and will not move in or out?

And my gas mileage has went out the window.

Hi,

It sounds like the brakes are dragging. They will overheat and damage the brake rotors, so you may want to repair them before driving.

If the slide pins are frozen, you may want to soak them with something like PB blaster. Let them sit for a bit and heat where they enter. Then repeat this over until you are able to work them out.

If that isn't possible, the only thing left is to replace the caliper and slide pins.

Try the penetrating temperature and heat to see if that helps. Let me know the results.
