Brake lights were working, replaced switch, now they work fine unless headlights are on, they stay on, tried another switch, no change. I tried a headlight switch, no change. Help! Thanks
Code says it is brake light switch.

Hello,

Please check fuse #15 - 15 amp in the fuse panel on the right side of the dash. Here are the brake light wiring diagrams to help you see how the system works. If the fuse is okay I would check the outputs of the GEM.

Here is a guide to help you check the fuse for power and the fuse location as well:

and

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Hi sorry to bother, could not find fuse box under dash. Do I have to remove glove box or something? Also, would blown fuse cause this issue? Thanks

Yes a blown fuse can cause this. You might need to remove the glove box because the blower motor is near the fuse panel. If the fuse is good we need to check the switch next. Please let me know.

Okay, I spoke with another mechanic, he said replace bulbs with Landrover OEM, I did ( $7.00 each ), Now the brake lights work wen headlights are on, but only the left side and overgate, the right one goes off wen brakes applied, but at least there are some brake lights. Any ideas? Thanks
