Hello,

I am changing the front and rear brakes/rotors on my 2021 Ford Edge but cannot find the torque specs for the brakes. Can you provide those specs and point out where that information is typically found?

Sure, here are how the brake job is done with brake torque specs. Make sure to service the brake caliper slides which is important for proper brake performance and even brake pad wear. Also, it says the caliper mounting bolts are torqued to yield and that you need new ones for reassembly.

Remove the bolts and the brake caliper.
Torque: 44 lb. Ft (60 Nm)

Remove the bolts and the brake caliper anchor plate. Discard the bolts.
Torque: 122 lb. Ft (165 Nm)

Notice: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted when installing the brake caliper or damage to the brake flexible hose may occur. This information is available in car repair manuals such as ALLDATA. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Do the specs/instructions change depending on calipers/rotors location (front vs rear)?

Yes, this is for the front brakes only. If you need rear brake specs please start a new thread.
