Hello!

I’ve got an issue with the front driver side braking system. I thought it was the brake caliper but I got a new one and it’s still sticking and not releasing. Do you think it has something to do with the brake line and/or the ABS module? I’m stumped. Thanks in advance!

Hello Beetlepunk21,

Sounds like you may have a brake hose that has collapsed internally. It will allow brake fluid to pass through when brakes are applied but it won't let it retract back into the system keeping the caliper stuck.

I would replace the brake hose, bleed the brakes and let me know how it goes. To release the pressure in the caliper just unscrew the bleeder valve.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help further.

Thank you,
Brendon
