Brake pedal traveling to floor before and after master cylinder replacement?

2005 FORD E-SERIES VAN
72,500 MILES • 2.6L • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Replaced master brake cylinder all brake pads replaced, totally bleed system (x2, 2 quarts of fluid used) starting with rear right, r/l, f/r, f/l. No fluid leaks anywhere.
ABS dash light is not illuminated except for engine start up. ABS light does not illuminate when braking. Both low (5A) fuse and high (60A) fuses for ABS system tested good, removed and cleaned fuse contact blades to make sure conductivity was positive.
Is the ABS pump motor defective?
Am I missing something?
Is there a test procedure for the pump motor?

Sure, so what happens is the ABS unit gets air trapped inside which causes the brake pedal to be low or to go to the floor. The ABS unit needs to be bled which requires the ABS control valves to be opened at the time of bleeding.
