Hello,

I recently replaced the brakes on my van. As you can hear in the video it makes that squeal sound but right at the end you can hear a kind of grinding noise. I have taken them apart to see what it could be. Not sure if it’s caliper or glazing in the pads?. Just seeing if you have any suggestions on what it could be. I know you don’t have much to go off of and I apologize.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Did you replace both front and rear? I don't think this is related to glazing. It could be the pads themselves. Was there any noise like this prior? Based on the video, it's hard to hear, but I do notice a slight squeal and then a noise at the end. Is that what you are referring to? If it is and the squeal only happens when the brakes are applied, they make a product that you put onto the back of the pads that is designed to absorb vibration and eliminate squeal. You may want to try something like that.

Let me know.
