I have a bad vacuum line going from the brake booster to the drum the master cylinder is attached to. I am not sure what that drum is called but I need to know how to remove it to remove the vacuum line and replace it.

Good afternoon,

The main vacuum line comes for the engine to the check valve at the booster and then into the booster.

There is no drum that I see.

Can you attach a picture of what you see so I can see what you see?

Okay, the big line coming in is what makes the booster work.

The other line is a vacuum damper for the other systems. You can disconnect that and cap off the line and the brakes should work fine with power assist.

Just pull the hose off the booster. That end and hose you can get at any parts store.
